March 27th 2018 -
Concord, NH- The New Hampshire Golf Association (NHGA) is excited to announce some updates that are coming to the Junior Tour this season.  In an effort to grow the game of golf amongst juniors across the state, the NHGA has opened up Junior Tour memberships to any junior golfer with an active GHIN in New Hampshire. There is no longer a minimum age limit for the Birdie Division of the Junior Tour.

The Junior Tour Program will also be adding more variety to the format of some of its events this season. This includes a Stableford, which involves scoring points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole. A Stableford format is inclusive to golfers of any skill level. The schedule will also feature a Junior Four-Ball, where teams of two will take the course together, using the best score from the team on each hole. With the new updates to the program in place, the NHGA Junior Tour will also take on its own new logo, as well as its own social media pages to allow for better access to information for the Junior Golfers and their families.
