NHGA Adds Hoffmann to Staff
February 14th 2018 - The NHGA is very excited to announce that Kinsey Hoffmann will be joining its staff as the Director of Junior Golf and Tournament Operations. This new position will be tasked with the administration of the Thorpe Family Foundation NHGA Junior Golf Tour and will provide support to other NHGA tournaments, including the newly created NHGA Women’s Mid-Amateur, NHGA Women’s Four Ball, and Mixed Club Team Championship.
Hoffmann, a 2017 graduate of the University of South Carolina, brings a wealth of golf administration experience having previously worked for the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and the Texas Golf Association. She’ll assume her duties on March 5, 2018.
"I am very excited and honored to be joining the team at the NHGA,” said Hoffmann. “I look forward to growing the New Hampshire Junior Golf Program and running first class tournaments for all the players of New Hampshire. Being the Director of Junior Golf and Tournament Operations is a great opportunity and I look forward to the challenges ahead."
NHGA Executive Director Matt Schmidt expressed his excitement at the addition. “It became clear from the first time I spoke with Kinsey that she would be a huge asset to the NHGA. Her experience working with junior golfers will be valuable as we look to grow our junior program. More than that, she espouses the type of traits that we value in our staff, including a commitment to strong customer service. Her addition to our staff allows us to enhance and the service and programs that we’re offering to our 18,000 members.”

About the NHGA Junior Golf Tour
Founded in 1998, the NHGA has strived to create a junior program that creates playing opportunities for players of all skill levels and abilities. Our program is structured to provide opportunities for junior golf development through fair competition, while encouraging proper course etiquette and good sportsmanship through playing and enjoying the game of golf. The NHGA Junior Tour is supported through the generosity of the Steve & Marjorie Thorpe Family Foundation.
