New Hampshire Golf Day is a day for representatives from the New Hampshire Golf Association, The First Tee of New Hampshire, the New England Golf Course Owners Association, New Hampshire Golf Course Superintendents Association and New Hampshire Chapter of the New England PGA to come together at the State House in Concord to celebrate golf in the Granite State.

Bringing together all golf organizations from around New Hampshire, the goal is to bring awareness of the impact of golf in New Hampshire to state legislators.  Here are some facts about the golf industry in the Granite State:
  • Golf has created 6,200 jobs for a combined wage income of $151.2 million per year
  • An average 18-hole round of golf is equivalent to 10,000 steps or 5 miles
  • $9.65 million in charitable contributions has been generated through golf related non-profit organizations
  • Since 2006, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America study found that golf courses have significantly reduced overall nutrient, pesticide and water us, while promoting the use of biological cultural practices
  • Golf related tourism to New Hampshire generates $90.8 million annually
  • Organizations like the NHGA Junior Golf Tour, The FIrst Tee of New Hampshire, the NEPGA Junior TOur, and the PGA Junior League are all serving junior golfers throughout the Granite State
  • 75% of New Hampshire golf courses and facilities are open to the public
  • New Hampshire golf industry revenue exceeds the combined revenue of all other spectator sports in the state, including hockey, soccer, auto racing and other popular sports
  • Golf in New Hampshire has an annual economic impact of $525.1 million
