Boatwright interns that will be joining the staff this spring.  Tim Manwaring, Chelsea Sedlar and Kailey Coleman, all who bring different skills and levels of experience, will be a part of the NHGA team for the bulk of the tournament season.
Tim Manwaring will begin his six-month internship term in late April.  Tim graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York in 2016 with degrees in Business Management and Economics.  Tim is a native of Keene, New Hampshire and has been an active golfer with the NHGA since his junior golf days.  He earned the Eagle A Boys Player of Year award in 2011 while competing on the NHGA Junior Tour.
Chelsea Sedlar, a familiar name to the NHGA, will return for her second season of interning with the NHGA.  Chelsea was a three-month USGA P.J. Boatwright intern with the NHGA in 2017 and is excited to return for another three months this year.  Chelsea currently attends Sacred Heart University where is is a member of the Women’s Golf Team.  She is a two-time defending champion of the NHWGA Championship and will look to defend her title for a third time at Portsmouth Country Club in August.
Kailey Coleman joins the NHGA as the first NHGA/NHWGA intern for three months beginning in May.  Kailey is currently a junior at Southern New Hampshire University where she is studying Communications and Sport Management while competing on the Women’s Golf Team for coach Matt Arvanitis.  Kailey will be working closely with the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association this summer along with assisting at NHGA events, including the NHGA Junior Tour.
The NHGA is excited to have all three on board this spring and is grateful to the USGA for the continued support of the P.J. Boatwright internship program.
About the USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship Program
Established in 1991, the program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations in the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis.  Each internship is different and varies depending on the needs of the association.  The common thread which runs through the internship is exposure to tournament preparations, tournament administration and post tournament business.
